Pieces of Me Album will release under the label The Verve Music Group, a Division of UMG Recordings, Inc. This is Ledisi's fifth CD release titled 'Pieces Of Me' with previously well acclaimed CDs under her belt as well as twice being nominated for Grammy Awards. In this new CD release (12 tracks), she does not disappoint : delivering great R 'n B/Soul with a message of hope/encouragement & relationship/love issues. Stand-outs include "Pieces Of Me" (great vocals & wonderful melody. This is the title track for this CD), "Bravo" (beautiful melody, harmonies & vocals) & "Bgty" (wonderful high pitched vocals, harmonies & incredible melody. This is my favourite track from this CD & hence the title of my review). Okay tracks are "Coffee" ('playful/naughty' track) & "Raise Up" ('some rapping' vocals). Great tracks include "So Onto You", "Stay Together" (great duet), "Hate Me", "Shut Up", "Shine" (up-tempo track with great vocals & melody), "I Miss You Now" (a slow track, great harmonies) & "I Gotta Get To You". On overall, this is a great CD release by Ledisi, a highly recommended CD listening.
